Fence Installation & Deck Restoration
This backyard project involved extensive improvements to the property’s outdoor spaces, designed to withstand challenging conditions and deliver stylish functionality.
Gorilla Fence Installation:
- 800 linear feet of durable Gorilla fence was installed for maximum security and privacy
- Challenging site conditions required coring into bedrock to install posts securely with epoxy
Two-Story Deck Restoration:
- Replaced and restored the entire two-story deck
- Added weather-resistant Gorilla decking to shed water effectively and maintain durability
- Enhanced with black aluminum railing and glass panels
- Created a sheltered rooftop area to provide protection, making the space usable year-round
- Incorporated large, custom stucco posts to seamlessly match the aesthetic of the main house
Pool House Design-Build
A spacious, multi-functional pool house designed for relaxation and entertainment, was also built to combine rustic charm with practical amenities.
Washroom & Kitchen Features:
- Full 3-piece washroom featuring tongue and groove pine cladding, adding to the rustic aesthetic
- Full tile flooring and a tiled shower enclosure for easy maintenance and a clean look
- Floating vanity and a black toilet for a sleek, minimalist vibe
- Kitchen includes IKEA cabinets designed for functional storage
Structural Highlights:
- 80×20 foot structure featuring robust 8×8 foot pressure-treated posts for stability and durability
- 3-ply, 14-inch laminated veneer lumber (LVL) beams clad with pine to create a full-span beam look
Custom Furnishings:
- Custom Douglas Fir table (4×20 feet, 4 inches thick), perfect for social gatherings and casual dining
- Storage space for easy access to poolside essentials
- Ceiling clad in tongue and groove pine stained with Cutek Extreme
